TEARS IN RAIN

TEARS IN RAIN

Biography

In 2010, Jim Vieco decided there wasn’t much of what he was into out there in the Barcelona music scene – 60s and 70s Rock, Psychedelic, Alternative, Stoner, Post-Rock, Progressive, Jazz and Classical – so he started Tears in Rain to fill the void. The line up has evolved since their beginnings but Jim remains the driving force behind the trio. With Jim’s guitar and vocals in the lead, Antonio León on bass and Diogo Santos on drums, they form a powerful trio, producing a blend of rock and more passive genres seldom heard at a rock gig. If Robert Plant and Janice Joplin had had a love child, he might have sounded something like Jim, who a voice from the 70s rock era, refreshing in this time of often similar-sounding contemporary vocalists.
